2021 US Classic - Men

Lynn Rutherford's mixed zone tweets/photos from last night:

Brezina on family life: https://twitter.com/LynnRutherford/status/1438703050324054020
Jimmy Ma: https://twitter.com/LynnRutherford/status/1438714483736784900
He attributes improved quad combo to [coaches Letov & Ganicheva]: "They say, you have a good quad, it needs to be more consistent. You did 3 a day, now you are doing 3 a minute. They're good at gauging me, they can tell when I'm lazy & when I'm fired up."
At 25, Ma thinks his best is yet to come: "I feel like I have a lot to offer. Every single time I go out on the ice I want to leave my mark. I don't want to hold anything back. There is a lot more I can give, technically and aesthetically."
Carrillo: https://twitter.com/LynnRutherford/status/1438721774909366272
... feels he is improving. He already earned an Oly spot for Mexico: "With good athletes trying for spots it's great to have one. I'm going to push forward, look for more goals like doing more quads. Having the spot gives me time to prepare."
Tran: https://twitter.com/LynnRutherford/status/1438708405917650946
...The full-time mechanical engineering student at [Cal State Long Beach] says "I do a whole day of classes Mon-Fri. It definitely limits the time I can practice but I'm doing my best to balance it."

Well it's always nice when you fall right in time to the music

It occurred to me Gorodintsky looks a bit like Andy Sanberg and I'm afraid I'm never going to unsee this in my brain now. :P. His rotation speed is amazing but too often sloppy in the run-out.

They need to take the appliques off of Gordonisky's back... they just highlight his posture issues :shuffle:

I feel like Tran belongs in a mid-90s Nationals. Very straight-forward if not reserved skating but with a nice quality. I want him to ramp it up (and stop looking down so much).
