2019 4CC info/tickets & planning thread (Feb. 5-10, Anaheim, California)

I have two tickets I can't use for the men's short (Section 224 row G) and one for the free dance (section 223 Row D center ice, this one is part of an all-event ticket, so it should also be good for practice that day). If interested in any of these tickets, please pm me.

Is there a practice schedule for the Honda Center online anywhere? Thanks for any help.

I'd be up for dinner Saturday!

For money and energy (and possible work on Friday) reasons, I'll probably only be going Saturday. I wish I could see the ladies FS though...

Are you guys planning on dinner between pairs and men’s FS? If so, I’d love to join you if my schedule permits (will be arriving in LA that day for work next week, so it depends on if flight is on time etc).

Does anyone know where the skaters entrance and knc are located? I thought someone said they were near section 218, but looking at the seat map, I’m wondering if they’re actually on the other end near sections 204 / 226. Does anyone know for sure? Thx!

I was thinking maybe going to get early dinner/drunch. Maybe go to Downtown Disney or something since that's just a short bus ride away. It depends on what other people want to do. I like Brea as well, but it's a bit of a drive from the arena. There's also some food near the arena.

Yes, that's what I was thinking of doing. There's a decent break between pairs and mens FS.

@misskarne Are you going to Disneyland? I was thinking if you're making the trip you should at least go to Downtown Disney. (And be a basic millennial like me and get the rose gold Minnie ears)

Of course :D I wouldn't miss it! Though rose gold probably wouldn't go with my hair colour. I might have to peruse my options.

@misskarne If I wasn't working I'd go with hahaha They have like 20+ designs at any given time. The Coco ones were really cool, but I think they're gone now? I haven't checked recently.

If anyone is still looking for an hotel, Ayres, the hotel across the street from the Honda Center, still has rooms available (for Friday night), and Tripadvisor is running a special ($232/night including taxes). Definitely pricier than say the Holiday Inn 10 minutes away, but I figure just parking will cost at least $40-60, plus it's supposed to have an amazing breakfast. And the best part is, of course, running into all those skaters!

The Ayres isn't the official hotel, so I wouldn't expect to see the skaters there. The official hotel is in Irvine. (Sorry.)

Interesting that the Ayres suddenly had rooms come available. It was listed as "sold out" before all event tickets went on sale.

@peibeck I would assume there's a lot of Hanyu fans that booked way back beforehand in case he was going and then decided to cancel when they found out he wasn't going to be there.

Oh no! Well at least I won’t be disappointed when I get there...

My guess is that a tour group may have booked a block of rooms to sell tour packages and ended up releasing some of the rooms they didn’t need. I remember checking on the Ayres a long time ago and the availability had always been zilch up until a couple of weeks ago.

Saw an ad for Ticketmaster: Enter offer code gold2019 for 25% off 4CC tickets.

Thanks for posting this. Sadly, it didn’t work for me.

On another note, I can’t believe TicketMaster had the nerve to charge a $30 fee for a single ticket to the Men’s FS. If I buy tix to any other 4CC events it won’t be through them!

Okay - It’s official - I’m coming! :D Going to book my flight, tickets, and hotel (where should I stay? As close to the arena as possible?)

I will fly out from DC on Friday afternoon and arrive later that night. Only attending Saturday events and then flying back on Sunday.

:cheer2:

Has anyone seen any deals on parking? For those of us driving in each day, $20 a pop will really add up. I searched for some kind of parking pass, but could find nothing.

The FAQ also say there will be no in and out privileges so they will charge $20 every time you go in and out. There are big breaks between events where we could leave to go get non-arena food. I'm going to look into that ART bus....

If I had known about availability at the Ayres Hotel, I might have come to the event.
Unfortunately, they didn't release rooms in time for me to make reasonable travel arrangements from the east coast.

Does anyone have any information on practice passes for this event? Are they included with ticket packages? Is anyone selling individual practice passes if I decide I’m interested?

For all event ticket holders there are not separate tickets just for the practices - they know who is all event by scanning the event for that day.

USFS sent an email over the weekend, here's the blurb on practice:

ACCESS TO PRACTICE
All-session ticket holders have access to all official practice at Honda Center. Please note, there is no unique practice pass but your individual session ticket has a unique scan that will grant you access each day for practice. Practice passes are not available for sale and practice at the secondary rink is not open to the public.

I'm still not sure which ticket they need to scan for practice on the 5th and 6th which doesn't have any other ticket attached to those dates, so I only wonder if scanning any of the tickets will work on those dates.

Hey folks, Just programmed the ole DVR...

So is NBC Sports only showing all the mens and all the ladies and nothing at all of pairs and dance???

Thx.

Nothing of pairs? seriously??

It's disappointing. Nothing of pairs and only a tape delayed airing of the free dance. I checked Olympic Channel hoping for at least tape delayed coverage like the grand prix but nothing there either.
