I don’t look at skaters as “porny”, but I definitely can think of some female skaters who are super hot/gorgeous.
Madison Chock - the goddess of all seven continents ? I think my heart stopped after her Latin short dance last year! Drop-dead gorgeous but also classy and stylish. I never thought I would be so jealous of Evan Bates in my life!
Ksenia Stolbova - sentimental fave for me because she was my very first female crush (What can I say? Her “I put a spell on you” SP pushed me over the edge!) ?
Wenjing Sui - THE WAY THAT YOU FLIP YOUR HAIR GETS ME OVERWHELMED
Elena Ilinykh - yeah I know she’s retired but still one of the beauties of this sport
Ekaterina Bobrova - she reminds me of Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge
Ashley Wagner - sassy, confident, and can wear any hair color like she’s Nymphadora Tonks
I was going to say Gabby Daleman, but she’s not 21 yet so I’ll save her for next year.
There are also some skaters I find very beautiful, but not necessarily sexy: Elena Radionova, Evgenia Tarasova, Marin Honda, Eunsoo Lim. (Before you go thinking I’m a creepy old man or something, I’ll clarify: I’m Eunsoo’s age). Liza is a goddess and I love her to the moon and back, but she’s not quite my type tbh.
But guys, here’s an idea: instead of calling it the Porny Skater of the Year award, why don’t we just call it “Hottest Skater of the Year” or “Sexiest Skater of the Year”? It sounds way less tacky.
