Miyahara must enjoy coming to the Classic. This will be the 3rd or 4th time we have seen her. First time for the other skaters.

I think the altitude scares skaters off. Marin fainted last year after her FS.

Yes I do, thank you! :)

Excellent! Have fun and don’t forget to remember tons of details for the rest of us. The live stream can only show so much.

I do wish they could have come up with two more distinct names. Autumn Classic and US Classic, both within a week of each other does lead to some confusion.

Each competition announcement (first 7 are published) lists the entry deadlines - they're linked from here (click on the individual Challenger links):
When the entries are published online can vary greatly.

Asian Open Trophy entries were due on July 20 (not yet published on the ISU website).

Lombardia Trophy entry deadline is on Friday, August 10, 2018 – 20:00 h local time Bergamo.

U.S. Classic entry deadline is Friday, August 10, 2018 – 20:00 h (local time Salt Lake City, USA).

The US and Canada GP are Skate America and Skate Canada respectively. While there is some interesting history the creation of those events, the had an opportunity switch things up with these new events. Since they stuck with similar name, they apparently can’t.

Asian Open Trophy Challenger entries are published as of July 25 (17 men, 13 ladies, 3 pairs, 6 dance teams): http://www.isuresults.com/events/fsevent03111594.htm

I've copied out the names in the competition thread in Kiss & Cry: https://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/th...-bangkok-august-3-5-2018.104158/#post-5388567

Posted on the ISU's event page for this competition: https://www.isu.org/events/eventdetail/11789/-/asian-open-figure-skating-trophy?templateParam=11

Why would Gabby be going to US Classic instead of Autumn Classic?
