1996 Canadian Pairs

So up in Minnesota with Erin and we are binge watching Canadian nationals.

Have a question:. Did Bruno Marcotte ever have a try out with Jamie Sale??? Know that after the 96 Pairs event, Jamie tried out with David Pelletier but for whatever reason he stayed with Allison Gaylor.

But we are wondering did Bruno look west too? Cause Sale & Marcotte would have been really good as he is one of the highlights of the event. Just needed a better partner.

Also Jodeyne Higgins might not be able to jump but overall, she wasn't that bad of a pairs skater. Shame she couldn't get an inch off the ice on her jumps.

We actually watched 97 and 98 ladies as there's nothing like Keyla Ohs, Jennifer Robinson and Angie Derochie.

It still amazed me that Robinson won SIX Canadian titles but I guess that's for another thread.
