The direction of figure skating comp. got away from the artistic aspect of the sport yrs. ago! The Russian women emphazied it B4 being banned! For the men, Chen seemed to prioritize jumps over artistic interpretation! Malinin has taken it to a new level w/ a Quad-fest of meaningless jumps!

Yeah, Ilia bores me sometimes. It is ridiculous to compare Ilia and Nathan. They are completely different skaters.
Anyone who says Nathan lacked artistic interpretation needs their head and eyes examined.
