Some never develop. You know what I meant. This is as bad as people claiming SA survivors are “underage women.”Your brain isn't fully developed until you're 25.
Don't tell me, you had a traditional Kazakh breakfast yesterday.i’m sorry guys, this is my fault
I doubt that's it. He didn't look tired. He was popping jumps which he never does and which is generally a mental thing.German commentators speculating if the team event was too much for Ilia.
Actually I have been saying that he looks like his body has grown up, more muscular and that brings rotational changes. A coupleI’ve been saying that he’s been off since the GPF. He was way off his best at the US comp. Even in the TE, he was off.
I found the arena feed. NBC must have fecked off because the US didn't medal, but you can still find it in Peacock.I'm sorry Peacock didn't show the medal ceremony.
Yes, the first skater I watched win Olympic Gold has now coached an Olympic Gold Medalist.Urmanov winning gold as a skater and as a coach!
All of that is very true, but all the same, he missed out on an Olympic medal by 1.12 points. There's no way he's not going to be thinking about what might have been.Finishing 5th here is only going to consolidate his belief in himself that he has found this season. This is the FIRST season (since he was a junior) that I have not been nervous for him at all when he skated. He has finally found the confidence he didn't have before. HUGE congrats to him. He sure did himself and Canada proud.
What a forgettable event for the men. Fluke champion and nothing legendary worth watching in the decades to come.
Congrats to the medalists.
He needs a really, really good sports psychologist.Ilia's face when he finished is going to haunt me. Poor guy just didn't know what to do with himself.![]()
I keep thinking about Denis. He was such a patriot for Kazakhstan and wanted to show the world how much he loved skating for his country. He'd be so thrilled, I'm glad Oksana Ten gets to witness it at least.Who ever thought we'd hear the KAZ anthem at the Olympics for figure skating? I so happy for them.
This isn't actually true, btw. New research shows the prefrontal cortex continues to develop into the low 30s.Your brain isn't fully developed until you're 25.
It on Venue Feed on Peacock
at the amount of people who left and aren't watching the medal presentation. Bitter sponsors their guy didn't medal, I guess.
