This is probably the first time I really loved this program. Before I enjoyed it but spent the whole time worrying about the skirt. Is it shorter? It looks shorter at least in the front.

Well-skated and I still like the program. Twizzles are still shockingly bad. Lift in the middle of the program is the highlight. Speed is still.. not great.

I will say this for C/B--whatever feedback they get, they incorporate it. I will never like this FD (partly on general principle) but I do give them full props for being willing to make necessary changes. They are one of the few teams whose performances really do get better each time they perform it. The Italians, and even Gilles/Poirier, could probably really benefit from that characteristic.

I can’t believe how much Madi/Evan’s free skate has grown on me. When I first saw it, it seemed like such a mishmash of ideas that didn’t add up. Now I feel like it’s all come together. I love the tempo changes and flamenco touches. It’s just fun to watch.
