Discovered this by chance on Youtube. Olivia is doing a podcast type thing. Talking about herself, her history and the current season. Not bad and she is pretty open. Find out where she was when she had to get on the ice quick at Cup of China (second episode).

I also think she provides a good insight into being a high level skater, particularly after her partnership with Diaz broke up.

"Discussing the Drama in Finland at the final Grand Prix competition for our team. As well as our challenge in Estonia where we took home First Place! Thank you again for all your suggestions for Series Titles. We have officially gone ahead with "Whatever This Is" by Liv Smart!" (Dec. 10, 2025): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlkkB4s8vLY

"Everything on my mind after the chaotic Grand Prix of 2025, Nationals and now training for the Winter Olympics 2026 in Italy, Europeans & World Championships. Being an athlete can seem glamorous but there is also a lot of pressure and expectations we put ourselves through especially in periods like this. I discuss this and more in today's episode." Competing at Europeans in My Hometown | Whatever This Is w/ Olivia Smart - Episode 9 (Jan. 23, 2026): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxjJBThDwBc
It’s been a while and it’s that point in the season where all the work starts to pay off. Fresh off Europeans in Sheffield, my hometown, I’ve got a lot to reflect on and debrief with you all about how it went down. From the behind-the-scenes moments to stepping back into that same arena as a professional competing in the city I’m from, it honestly felt surreal. Thank you to the organizers, the fans, the locals, and especially my family and friends in the crowd, your support meant everything. Now that it’s done, all eyes turn to the Winter Olympic Games in Milan.
ETA that Olivia will be interviewed by Ashley Cain for the "Flamebearers" podcast - 2 clips before the episode drops on Wednesday 1/28/26:

Flame Bearers (Jan. 28, 2026) - Olivia Smart: Believe in the Journey: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLEHwuDtLTA
In this episode of Olivia Smart: Believe in the Journey, Olivia Smart (Spain, ice dance) opens up about chasing her second Olympic Games with deeper gratitude after time away from competition. She breaks down the mental side of elite sport, from overthinking and “inner demons” to learning how to manage nerves that get louder the more you care. Olivia shares what it means to make history for Spanish ice dance, helping earn multiple Olympic spots for her country, and why competing at Europeans in her hometown of Sheffield feels like a full-circle moment. She also reflects on partnership, communication, and the accelerated work of building trust with skate partner Tim Dieck, plus the everyday support that keeps her grounded off the ice. It’s a story of resilience, presence, and purpose as she skates toward Milano Cortina.
