I love this not just because it so obviously suits her, but because I've been saying for years that people need to look at John Williams other work instead of skating to music from the same 4 movies. I'm excited.

I love John Williams' scores for movies. I'll need to see more of Lara's program to see how well it works though. Even in that small clip they are editing different portions of music though, which is a little jarring.

This would be a great piece of music to do that "broken leg" camel spin position Sotnikova used to do to give that emerging dorsal fin effect.

And for full camp, I'll be disappointed if we don't get a "You're gonna need a bigger boat" voice-over.

I'm excited for FearGib because I have so many fond memories listening to The Proclaimers growing up  AAAAND I WOULD WALK 500 MILES.... used to always belt that one out in the car usually on a drive to Disneyland. I hope they use The Proclaimers. I really loved the Kerrs' Scottish programs so yay.
Lewis confirmed The Proclaimers’ 500 Miles to the Scotsman, and said that the programme will include elements of highland dancing.

I think I’m the only person who’s not a fan of 500 Miles. Also seems a strange choice to do a 90s song for the FD when the RD is 90s. 🤷‍♀️
Released in August 1988. I did the research after making a video about choices we'd like to hear this season, because this would've been one of my absolute top 90s picks if it was eligible. Very intrigued to see the program!

I think it became popular when Benny &. Joon was released, which is why people think of it as a 90s song. That’s when I first heard it. Someone should have done it for the 80s RD. Anyway, I’m excited.

Thank you for clarifying that because I knew I had not heard this song on the radio before the summer of 1993, my high school graduation year.

Still can’t stand the song. 😛
