I'll jump in and say that this is "Canada" not the U.S. where the opportunities are more plentiful. I'd say to Tessa (and Scott)....take what you can, do what you like, and try new things, as well as performing as a team as those opportunities arise.
I totally agree. It's even more obvious when seen in the arena. There are a few who can come close, but no-one can touch him in that regard. IDK whether it's his early training or some inherent talent, but it is certainly obvious.
That girl has something special, whether she skates well or not so well....just that presence on the ice. She's going to have a great career as a show skater once she's finished competing (which I hope is not for a while yet)....what an attitude, and it doesn't hurt that she's very very pretty...
Great interview. He sounds incredibly grounded and mature. I like that the music for his long can evolve as the season progresses. Cudos to Eric Radford.....a gorgeous piece of music tailored to a gorgeous skater.
It's all about the beautiful skating, expression, and the music (cudos to Radford). That was absolutely mesmerizing. Hopefully, the jumps will come with some mileage as the season progresses. So happy to see him back. No one can touch his skating skills.
She'll be back next year and hopefully with some good solid skates under her belt can regain her title. So nice to see some depth in the ladies here in Canada, but none of them can light up an arena like our girl Kaetlyn.
I'm so happy Patrick is back and skating like we know he can. If this continues, he can make the World podium and/or challenge for the gold. Loved both his programs last night and tonight. WTG Patrick!!!!
Still cheering for the "mean girls" aka Team Homan.....just realizing their potential this year with so many wins after breaking in newby Joanne last year. Also it looks as though Team Jacobs is shaking off their post Olympic slump....love both teams and love watching them. Also, it's nice to...
I certainly agree with the cancellation in lieu of events yesterday. Prayers for those who lost their lives and their families and all of France. Terrible, just horrendous.
I haven't watched yesterday's short yet, but when I checked the standings, I assumed he had popped a jump. However, I noticed the haterz were out in full force in the forum. I hope he has a wonderful long and moves up to the podium at least. That long program is a masterpiece of skating...
