(Updated) Denis Ten Murdered: was stabbed in the thigh

Words cannot properly express my sadness at reading this news. I keep telling myself that it's all part of God's plan...a new angel was needed. But, dang, this is rough.

2017-2018 Dress Thread - Couture and Comically Bad

So is Nathan getting real costumes and not just the plain black shirt and pants (what he wore for both SP and LP in the G-P series)? If not, then I sure hope that Nathan didn't pay designer prices.

    2018 Olympics Team Event Qualification

So the athletes may have to pack two sets of outfits...OAR for the opening cerem and RUS for whenever the ban is lifted? In the case of the figure skating Team Event, they might begin as "The OARs" -- since the Team Event commences one day before the Opening Cerem -- but may complete the event...

    James-Cipres Out of French Nationals

And Euros before that. Hoping they'll get on the European podium again. However, if necessary, skip Euros to be ready to slay at the Olympics.

    US TV Coverage 2017-2018

Thanks to all for answering my question. So it's only online but could be watched on a Smart-TV screen with the right set-up configuration. Now I have to do that before Russian Nationals.

    US TV Coverage 2017-2018

Naïve question. Is ESPN 3 a cable-TV station or is it a live-streaming option?

IOC's decision: (clean) Russian athletes can compete under neutral flag at PyeongChang Olympics

You're right, barbarafan. I was referring not to the Russians but to other countries who might have been licking their chops too early, before realizing that, yes, there will likely be Russians in Pyongchang, whatever the team is called (Olympic Athletes from Russia). I'm guessing that all of...

IOC's decision: (clean) Russian athletes can compete under neutral flag at PyeongChang Olympics

Because of Russia's very high chances to win the Team Event gold medal. Canada, USA and Japan, in that order, could move up spots.

    I, Tonya

Thanks for the clarification, Wyliefan and Erin. By premiering in NY and LA now, the film can be considered for Oscar nominations. Then take advantage of the pre-Oly hype for all other openings. Makes sense.

    I, Tonya

If this movie is premiering this coming Friday (Dec 8), then why can't I see it listed for any movie theater in the Metro Washington, DC area? Does anyone know if this is to be a "limited" or mainstream-release movie? I don't see it listed at any of the usual big movie companies (Regal, AMC, etc.).

Cheers to Russian/OAR figure skaters going to the Olympics. Sorry, Japan, USA and Canada.

    NBC Network Olympics Coverage

http://results.nbcolympics.com/figure-skating/team-event/ladies-short-program/1793575 OK, I meticulously went through the NBCOlympics website's schedule for what will be shown on US television. Oddly, they seem to be planning on SPLITTING most figure skating events to two prime-time nights...

IOC's decision: (clean) Russian athletes can compete under neutral flag at PyeongChang Olympics

Or she could adopt Leonova's old Russian folk dance program. They cannot ban Russian music from skating programs, can they? I bet that a bunch of the Russian skaters at the Olympics will switch their programs to Russian folk music. Betcha.
