It just occurred to me that the technical box could be even more interesting if it compared it to the TES of the leaders at this point in the program instead of just the total.

Would probably be hard to do, but would be interesting.

I don't think it would be hard to do at all. They'd just have to record it as it came through on the ISU scoring devices and play that back in sync.

I’m pretty stunned by this result. K/O’s lifts are dynamite but the jump and throw elements are tentative while P/M’s are secure. Wow, well we will take that extra point!

Huh? Did you miss the wonky landing and turnout by Lia on her first throw? Mind, KamO's throws are generally trash and PerMich's 2nd throw was a beauty, but I feel like today they cancelled each other out.

I absolutely hate the music for KamO's program but I have to give it to Meekins for editing it in a way that really builds & gets the audience on their feet when it's a successful program which is the major failing of PerMich's program where it just sort of ebbs and dies away at the end.

You know what's more annoying that K/O's covers, Grassl's jump technique, Eteri, and the French Federation? This "bibberty bibberty" Liberty Mutual commercial. It makes me long for a nice commercial about some meds that will make my liver explode and increase suicidal thoughts. Or a nice ambulance chaser--don't let the big rigs force you into a settlement! Put the Womac on 'em!

I know purists don't care for the TE, but I love it. I love what it brings out in the athletes--sitting together as a teams, cheering each other on, coaches going from jacket to jacket to support their skaters--it just embodies the Olympic spirit. I love what it brings out in the competitors and while certain fans might not take it seriously, they certainly do. And they manage to have a wonderful time while doing so.

I love the team event. Athletes in so many other sports have chances to win a ton of medals. I am glad that some skaters at least have two chances now.

Also, I love seeing skaters get to be a part of a team! They so rarely get that experience. And so many of them clearly have a good time!

I'm always amazed at how Niccolo manages to not only lift Sara but even do it well. He's about the thinnest male pairs skater in a while, and she's not exactly a small girl.

ConMac - ugh - messy AF SBS 3t+1a+2a... Come on... Whew! Gorgeous SBS 3s! Stays up on the throw 3lo...Throw 3s - swishy! Not perfect, but I'll take it for today and know they're saving a little bit for next weekend. Should easily go into the lead, though.
