I love the team event. Athletes in so many other sports have chances to win a ton of medals. I am glad that some skaters at least have two chances now.

If they gave out real medals for the SP/RD, they could have three chances!

The entire Italian team jumped out of its seat when she landed the throw 3S. Not at full strength or skating all out, and the sequence was a mess. But they did what they needed to do. They’ll take it on the second mark.

The Olympics don't allow you to get multiple medals for the same competition. So they'd have to do them separately in order to give out medals.

Fair. I’ve seen Conti and Macii skate in person a lot, and today was not close to full strength. It was amazing given her injury but the scoring was accurate.
