Re-posting here from the 4CC FD play-by-play thread:
Zingas/Kolesnik will net 412 points for their win, for a total of 3719 and will be 6th in WS after they do the update. They'll be 79 points below Gilles/Poirier, who are 5th.

The penultimate RD group will be:
6-8: Zingas/Kolesnik, Reed/Ambrulevicius, Carreira/Ponomarenko
9-10: Smart/Dieck, Lajoie/Lagha

Would it help Caroline Green and Michael Parsons if they switched to Igor Spilband and Pascal Camerlengo? They would have strong training partners in Zingas/Kolesnik.

I think they'd be better off going to IAM-O and training with Scott, Madi & Adrian's team. Christina & Caroline are such good friends already, so I'd hope it doesn't cause problems.

The problem would likely be a work visa as Michael has mentioned a few times he needs to work to support his skating career. The Browns have mentioned similar issues with their part time move to IAM

While watching Jr Nationals, I noticed the WISA teams have switched from the Washington FSC to the Shenandoah FSC. Does anyone know why?

Both Kouevi/Homawoo and Stapert/Korotcov were members of the ION FSC last season (through 2025 Nationals in Wichita). I don't know why they switched. I had not heard of Shenandoah FSC before and did not find a website when I searched online just now.

I think it's possible that the ION FSC split or disbanded when the ION rink was set to close. I think the rink ended up staying open after all(?), but the solo dancers that previously represented ION also switched to Shenandoah this season.

Maybe ION FSC morphed into Shenandoah FSC?
I wonder because of the page below.

For example (FWIW): Clicking there on the link for "Shenandoah Figure Skating Club Bylaws" brings up a PDF for ION FSC bylaws.

If Green/Parsons can't afford to train in Canada what coach/coaches can they switch to in the United States?

I think Green/Parsons started the season a bit slowly but had some real momentum at the end. Much better at Nationals and close to tying Z/K at 4CCs in the RD. Maybe they are hitting stride and just need to be ready a bit earlier (rather than a coaching change)?

Gregory/Petukhov have been coaching for a while and seem to have just broken through these last few years with Tali/Lafornara, Aboian/Veselukhin, and now Vacklavikova/Lissauer looking promising too. The common factor seems to be that they’re excellent at pairing up young skaters from different backgrounds. That’s quite different from Green/Parsons, who have been together for seven seasons and known each other since they were kids.

But I think any team looking for a coaching change who needs to stay in the US for whatever reason (citizenship, finances, personal life) probably has to at least consider taking a punt on coaches relatively untested at the highest level. What are the other options? MIDA is in flux (and home of snoozy programmes), WISA are consistently terrible at packaging and strategising for senior teams, Marina Zueva is semi-retired and seems like Ilya Tkachenko is doing most of the day-to-day coaching, and Igor is Igor.
