Tonia babbling about how she knows nothing about ice dance, and how she doesn't understand why a team she likes doesn't do well, is exactly while I'm more of a lurker during ice dance competitions.

Georgians - these two do not know how to construct a program to music (same as the RD). It was just pick a piece of music and then put any random stuff to it. But it gave nothing to latch onto or that you could do the elements to the phrasing. I would have a real problem judging it for that reason because the elements have to be done to the phrasing or timing of the music and it's not.

All my rants about Smart/Diek are nothing compared to the shock of having Reed/Ambru 4th. The actual hell.
I thought they got their Kaunas bronze and that would be it.

I really don't know what you saw. For example, Olivia and Tim don't really have any music to match for the most part, except maybe the nuances in the twizzles. In fact, they can basically throw their elements anywhere and probably match whatever non-descript stuff is going on.

I think the Georgians have wonderful highs and lows and the music does in fact match what they are doing.

Ok. Fashionistas. Help me out here. Am I the only one tired of the spiderweb bodice motif on Alison. We've seen it in both programs this year and in many years past. Of all the 'top' team costumes, I think they are lower on the GOE scale for fashion.

Someone said yesterday that Diana smiles in the wrong places. She is doing it again.

Cello is my absolute favourite instrument so I'm loving this music. But I don't think of classical music when I think of them. I like that they are exploring this style, I don't know if it's the best for them.

I played cello so I latch onto it when I hear it. Beautiful piece but doesn't work for ice dance.
