The talent/skill level isn’t anywhere the same, but Smart/Dieck’s Dune reminds me of how Anissina and Peizerat created programs with highlight moves that really matched with the music.

Yes! A/P created amazing poses that stayed with you just as they do.

Stunning is the right word! This is one of my absolute favorite ice dance program I have had the pleasure to watch. So glad they are doing it for the Olympics this year. Just amazing. Olivia is just incredible. Great job!

(But to my credit, I knew they were supposed to be. )

Don't really get the direction the Taschlers are going with this program. The opening movement is clunky, the opening choreo spin looks strange. Love the first half of the curve lift element. One foot step still with the spiral, blade crisis averted.

Margaglio camp again just making me scratch my head. I find this very, very empty and way below what they showed under Zanni. Very, very full of stops and crossovers to again set them up. Too many music changes I think, too.

I'm a minor Taschlers fan, but this FD is such a step back... I mean, I'd have it behind the Czemkos.

They.need something to showcase their speed and power. The elements don't really connect and flow. Not that all teams should look alike, but there's one team in this comp that has a seamless free dance with the elements woven together beautifully.
