There is no way you could sit there, and just agree with Chris for 8+ hours a day over the course of 4 days.

Tonia and Chris are not a good combination though. Earlier she was making good technical comments and Chris would jump in to say something nice about the skater in a way that made it seem like her comment wasn't correct or was somehow mean (it was correct and wasn't mean). No wonder she is mostly just agreeing with him now.

Well, I like Chris. I like his Chris-isms and his exuberant enthusiasm. He always makes me smile (or laugh out loud) every competition. Tonia ... I could take or leave.

He's grown on me. Especially now that he is making actual technical comments at times. He was so bad that first season when Tony said he didn't follow the sport. It showed! But he improved and now I miss his positivity sometimes when other commentators are focusing on the negative (even when they are technically correct).

He weighs 15 pounds - tossing him takes a fair bit of effort.

Strange jumping error doing the two triple loops without leaving a combination slot open. Another skater over come with emotion, and understandable as she hasn't had a performance of this quality in a while.

Well, on behalf of my nation, I'd like to thank all the skaters for their misfortunes that will allow us to send 2 skaters next year. Especially as the internal fight for this spot was soooo close. As much as it's not ideal that it happens when others falter.

Iida totally earned it though She just skated early. Looking forward to seeing your second skater next time

Work has kept me away from being able to watch any of Euro's this year or even really check in on the threads until the 2nd group of women - what exactly happened to the French skaters??? Kevin, Lea & Lorine all had a really rough Euro's this year, FB/C got another ! on their choreo seq... did someone put a hex on the entire team?

If someone who was completely unfamiliar with Moulin Rouge watched a bunch of skating programs to the music, I wonder what they would think it was about.

I know the Swiss have a logjam of talented juniors and the Joos sisters probably thought it would be easier to skate for Italy but one has to wonder how much Sarina's got to be kicking herself a bit knowing that 2nd Swiss Olympic spot could very well go to waste if their NOC doesn't send Livia.

Nice back flexibility from Joos and great jumps but really just going through the motions in terms of interpreting the music. She looks quite juniorish, even though she is 19(still very young compared to others here).
