2025-26 Peacock Streaming

It just stinks that like with Skate America they’re forcing people to watch the TV broadcast on Peacock.

At least with Skate America, we had the ISU feed.
It just popped into my head that with SkAm, the Peacock stream started when the event started but the USA broadcast didn't start until 30 minutes into the Peacock stream. We had Tara, Johnny & Terry doing the commentary throughout but they didn't cut any skaters/teams from Peacock.

Except when they cut away in the middle of the Mrazeks' FD!

It's frustrating. We now have a free computer hooked up to the tv so I can watch another feed besides Peacock if necessary. But there isn't one for this event!

I'm watching Pairs Short Program. All they are showing is the entire rink, no close ups. So I have contacted Peacock support chat. Supposedly, the comment has been passed along to eh appropriate department. If you're having the same frustration please contact their customer support. I hope we don't have to watch Nationals sitting 10 inches from the tv.

I may be ignorant on this, but why is the Pairs SP only from the wide camera angle at the top of the stands? Not even worth watching like this at this point.

They just fixed it. Same here. I contacted support. "Technical difficulties." Somebody probably forgot to send the closeup feed to the right place. Glad it's fixed!

I hope Peacock fixes glitch this ASAP 😞

For anyone still looking for the "Making the Team" tile, it is up now. It probably has been for a while, but I just noticed.

Peacock has been pretty quick at removing the recordings. Juniors is gone, Pairs and Women's short is also gone. Rhythm Dance and Men's short will be gone tonight. I did find the Junior competitions on Youtube - everything is music dubbed (maybe there are exceptions, but I didn't go through everything). Someone told me once that if you look for individual performances, they have the right music - not so. At least not the ones I checked.

Once again, I am very glad I was able to record as much as I could. There are a few people out there who can record from Peacock. I may need to see how possible that is.

I think I'm going to give up entirely and swear off watching FIGURE SKATING for the remainder of my life. The disappointment and frustration of trying to figure out passwords and clear caches and upgrade operating systems and then to pay indefinitely, for years on end, for services that for the life of me I can't figure out how to OPERATE on my computer is taking a toll on my mental health and well being. GOOD-BYE SKATING! It was a nice past time to watch while it lasted the last 40 years but I give up--I'm done. I was really looking forward to watching Nationals this weekend on my computer and stayed home last 24 hours to watch but all I've done is stared at screens of icons saying my programming will start soon--but then, when it starts, I'm diverted to screens that ask me about my blood type, and what service provider I have, and what the name of my first born was, etc... and I really just can't take it anymore. I'M TOO OLD TO KNOW HOW TO USE A TELEVISION SET; AND, I'M TOO OLD TO WANT TO UPGRADE MY COMPUTER OPERATING SYSTEM EVERY SIX MONTHS... this is literally such an unpleasant experience using all these platforms. Watching figure skating used to be favorite past time of mine in my down time--but it is just no longer accessible, in my opinion, to the normal person anymore--it's just too much of a chore to navigate all this technology that changes every five seconds to be even a remotely worthwhile thing to want to do with my time. I blame the USFSA: they shouldn't partner with organizations that provide ZERO live customer service support to help customers use their services. WATCHING SKATING HAS JUST BECOME AN INCREDIBLY UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE FOR ME BECAUSE OF ALL THIS--I'M JUST DONE. I pay my membership dues to the USFSA most years--I'm supporting these athletes; there should be a much less uncomplicated route available to watch them compete from home.

Peacock really isn’t that complicated. You log in and go to Sports. If it’s live, it should be right there on the Sports homepage. 🤷🏻‍♀️

You are wrong! It's extremely complicated! Peacock won't accept the operating system on my computer. I have limited memory on my computer; I do not want to update the operating system and risk the computer crashing to the point of disrepair--and, then have to go purchase a new one. Besides my computer is not that old. I have seen cable work on television sets 20 or 30 years old--yet, Peacock is proving itself incompatible on a computer 5 years old. Plus, in order to update the operating system, I would have to go through everything on my desktop, organize my files, back-up everything to Time Machine--it's a hassle i don't really want to deal with just to watch a single skating event.

And, then to watch on NBC UNIVERSAL--I just don't get it! I just created a profile and was told I could get credits to watch three free events but then I can't watch them unless I give them the info to my cable provider--but I don't have a cable provider. So, I just go in circles. I was somehow after banging on a bunch of random keys able to get the last bit of dance and the men's (I honestly don't know how)--but now I can't make the same thing work to watch the selection streaming. And, yet, I have been paying for Peacock continuously because I always forget to cancel the subscription--it's probably useless for me now unless I want to buy a whole new computer.

Do you still have cable? Most of US Nats was on USA/NBC. Also, if you have a smart TV, you can watch Peacock there. There should be an app. And even if you aren't savvy about a smart tv, someone can set it up for you and then it will just work.

I can see with your computer setup that watching on the computer is going to be complicated and frustrating, but I don't see how it's USFS fault that you haven't upgraded your computer. You are an edge case and even if NBC/Peacock had 24/7 live support, most likely they would just tell you that your OS isn't supported.

Tiles are up for the Olympic Games - including practices. I count 37 tiles at present, including the gala. As always they are all jumbled as to dates and disciplines.

Only you can decide how important it is to you to be able to watch figure skating. If it is really important, you will need to do whatever it takes to make things happen. The answer is probably to have someone help you.

It appears that Peacock is not streaming Four Continents. Just checked this morning and the Olympic tiles are up but there is nothing for Four Continents!
I'm thinking those tiles are still coming. The watch page on USFS indicates Peacock will be part of the broadcast for 4CCs. It seems reasonable to me that the "Olympic" staff would be more on top of things than the regular staff and they wanted to get the Olympic Games up and visible. I'm hoping the 4CCs tiles will appear like most of the others have - just a few days before the event.

Typically the ISU event tiles don't show up until the week of the competition. Euros didn't start showing up until Saturday and were all there by Sunday. I would expect the same timeline for 4CCs this coming weekend.

You don't watch it on NBC if you're on Peacock - Peacock just streams the NBC broadcast.

Since you mentioned Time Machine, it sounds like you have a Mac? If that's the case, your Safari might be out of date since you mentioned that you haven't updated your operating system and Safari is tied to OSX, but you should be able to watch Peacock using a different browser. Can you download Firefox or a different browser?

Okay, so I went through all 37 tiles that Peacock has up for the Olympics and there appear to be 4 tiles missing - Team Pairs SP, Team Dance RD, Warm-Up Pairs SP, Warm-Up Pairs FS

Training - Starting Feb 5th (Feb 4th @ 10:45pm PT) through Feb 20th there is a Training tile for each day.
Team Event - Women's SP, Men's SP, Dance FD, Pairs FS, Women's FS and Men's FS are all available which would indicate there should be individual tiles for the Pairs SP & Dance RD, neither of which are available.
Warm-Ups - There are Warm-Up tiles for the Dance RD/FD, Men's SP/FS and Women's SP/FS, so one would think there should also be tiles for the Pairs SP/FS.
Individual Events - all of the actual competition segment tiles are available.
