2026 US Nationals Men's Free Skate "It's Raining Menning"

I could see Jacob wanting Jr Worlds since he hasn't medaled there (4th last year) and doing so would guarantee him a GP, but 4CC would also be a great opportunity to establish himself at a Sr Championship.
I was looking at the $$ and he might be better trying for a 4CC medal. Any envelope experts want to weigh in?

4CC and Junior Worlds are well over a month apart, so it's possible for someone to get both. I think my feelings on giving Jacob the shot at both vs. spreading it out may depend on how others skate.
This isn't meant as any type of shade towards Jacob, but I think he should do 4CC (only 10 days from now) then focus all of his energy on adding quads between 4CC and the 2026-27 season. Junior Worlds in mid-March would distract from that work and delay his clean quads in my opinion.

USFSA are going to be a lot more worried about JGP spots. If they think they need him for those, they'll send him.

It's hard to see him winning a medal without a quad against Miura, Tomono, Yamamoto, Shaidorov and Cha. Maybe some will withdraw but at the moment it's hard to imagine a medal for any US man.

What will the judges do if Torgy and Tomoki go clean? :watch:

If Naumov skates lights out, I think he's in. They'll do it for the plot and sick Andrea Joyce on him, poor kid.
