2026 US Nationals Men's Free Skate "It's Raining Menning"

I could see Jacob wanting Jr Worlds since he hasn't medaled there (4th last year) and doing so would guarantee him a GP, but 4CC would also be a great opportunity to establish himself at a Sr Championship.
Nope, it doesn't. It only puts him in the GP Assignment Selection Pool.

Ilia looked very stiff on the landings. He did a quad (i missed the takeoff, maybe a 4T) as warmup was ending but looks like he's not really bending. Ankle is probably heavily taped. I don't know if it's wise for him to compete. I've never seen struggle like that in a warmup.

Everyone's probably worried about the loss of momentum/narrative if they can't send Ilia off to the Olympics with a coronation. But it's no good sending him off if he aggravates an injury and hurts his Olympic chances. I hope he does whatever's best for his body.

The Olys are way too close to take risks. Ugh. :(

Martynov is really falling apart here in the second half. The first half was impressive but this won't keep him ahead of Jacob.
