2025 Skate Canada Rhythm Dance PBP - I'm Too Spooky

YEAH!!!! I really enjoyed that. I mean .... how can you not skate well to Prince? LOVE "Cream" .... I kind of missed that part because I was dancing in my chair.

Oh by the way, on the tech panel as controller is Leanna Caron who used to be the President of Skate Canada during the disaster that was Covid, and people were pushing back about her doing little to nothing while she sat in Switzerland.

I know there's always some connection here or there to tech panelists, but being President of an organization is a bit of a conflict for me.
Yeah I saw this called out by someone else earlier and I have to agree. Especially at an event in your country where your teams stand to benefit from soft calling.

I'm a little bit thrown by the idea of Steffan's shirt at a Nirvana concert. I'm kinda wondering what 90s y'all grew up in. The only way Steffan's shirt belongs at a Nirvana concert is if he got lost on the way to the Jimmy Buffett concert (who also had A Moment in the 90s--I know this because my bestie was a Parrot Head and we would ARGUE over what to play in the Discman jimmied into the cassette player in the car because I was most definitely NOT a Parrot Head).
Grunge was about rejecting fashion and wearing oversized, sloppy, weirdly patterned shirts was part of that IME. Not everyone into grunge wore flannel.

I blame the 120bpm requirement. It's made every single team, even the ones we KNOW are usually quite speedy, look like they're skating through mud.
But isn't the requirement that the music have a minimum of 120 bpm, not be exactly 120 bpm?

I'm not sure how you misread my post to mean that the music had to be precisely 120bpm. Beyond that, the point remains that requiring all of the music to be at least 120bpm is making the skaters look slow, even the faster ones.
