Gumennik needs work on the spins but those jumps gonna throw him right in with Fa and Shaidorov racing to the Olympic podium. He's very stylish and listens to the music!

Gumennik - bit scratchy on the landing of the 4f+3t; his 4s didn't cover a lot of distance; good 3a. He's certainly more of a contender on the men's side of the equation than Petrosian will be on the women's side, IMO. Oh, God, he brought out the handkerchief again! Oh, a bit of a gumby he is with the different positions in his closing spin.

Listen, no one can explain Grassl's PCS, so we just don't even try anymore, lol. Gumennik is better than Grassl, for sure.

Gummenik looked very calm and prepared - jumps looked pretty easy (lovely 3A). The hankie just makes me think of tuberculosis.

Wooof - Puzanau obviously understands the assignment that men must always men at a major figure skating comp.

Puzanau moves gloriously when he's not doing required elements.

He's taking a page out of the Ukranian dancers program with several instances of smoking in the program as the choreo.

Lyrics to Puzanau's music say "I'm falling apart right in front of you" as he blows two jumping passes.

I'm guessing he doesn't have much of a costume budget, but Puzanau is dressed for Sinatra singing "One for My Baby."
