Odd that Brooks was moved from AZE, which has an easier field, to the absolute bloodbath of POL. Instead, USFS is (provisionally) sending two newbies to AZE Usually, you'd rather send one contender and one for-the-experience skater when you have two spots, and you'd definitely try to send your stronger skaters to weaker fields. The only advantage I see of sending Brooks to Poland is that the competition will be a much better preview of what competing in Jr. Worlds would be like, and perhaps USFS wants to see how he handles the pressure of a deep field.
