kinda shocked Zach didn't like their tango program lol, probably more on the way he felt skating it rather than the actual program, i loved it personally

I loved that program too! It was so well choreographed, especially the transitions which were so musical and seamless. I get that Zach might not have vibed with how it felt to skate, but from this viewer's perspective, it suited them perfectly.

Also found Marjorie’s comment about Junior Worlds fascinating, that going into the competition she was absolutely certain they would win, even though they were seen as underdogs against the Russians. And then there’s Zach, who felt he didn’t skate well, such an interesting contrast that shows how differently they each experienced that moment.
 
We got an official music confirmation and clip of the ending of the RD! Looks to be football themed based on Marjorie's costume, should go over well in Milano 😉 Initial observation is that there seems to be some placeholder choreography in there, I see parts of last year's PD pattern step.

No confirmation of what their FD is yet but there is the other clip of them in their old Warsaw Concerto & Paginini costumes which may or may not be it.

Lajoie and Lagha recently arrived back from Italy where they performed in their first international ice show, Ghiaccio Spettacolo. They ended up stuck in Italy due to cancelled flights but were able to tour around several cities including Milan - where the Olympics will be held in February.

"It was a difficult off-season with a lot of music changes but I feel like now we found a good recipe and [there's] another month until our next competition," Lagha said.

Bach wasn't their first choice of music. The first version of their free dance they couldn't keep because of music rights. "We were really into it but they said the rights were going to be so expensive, which is a sad part we need to deal with now," Lajoie said. 
"Then we chose another music but someone else was using it," Lagha added.

So their new FD is Bach! Hope there will be more details later on which piece(s) they chose. There was an X post from one of the In the Loop admins that said it was "piano pieces", so that narrows it down a bit, but can't wait to hear. On another note, the music rights clearance issues are really just such a downer on everything, so many skaters this season have remarked on it.

It's not been formally confirmed yet but based on Zach's comment I think it's likely their next competition is CS Nepela.

Thanks for the info! I can't wait to see what Bach piece they're skating to! :cheer2: Piano sounds great! I think another Canadian IAM team is skating to a bit of Bach (Toccata and Fugue), if I'm not mistaken. But it transitions very quickly into Dracula. I want to say it's Gauthier/Thieren?

yup that was Gauthier/Thieren. really intrigued what their FD is gonna be. i think from the snippets of the RD we've seen so far, they still need to add more choreo to it.

Hopefully we’ll get to hear more from them before HPC wraps up! I’m dying to know what kind of Bach they picked - dramatic Bach, lyrical Bach, dance-y Bach? There are so many possibilities 😆 And yep, G/T have the opening bars of T&F in their FD.

Definitely, but I’m just reminded of how Thriller basically reinvented itself from HPC to Nepela to the GP. They’ve still got a month until their Challenger and another month until their first GP, so I’m curious to see how it evolves. I doubt the program is fully ready if they were still doing filler steps at last week’s ice show.
