The second Finnish team does not have their citizenship completely sorted as of yet... so there may be a possibility of one extra spot being available, but we will have to wait and see. Are there any other lower level Finnish teams that might take the spot?
No, at least no such pair which would not have same citizenship issue.

😬 My nightmare is that somebody tries this - "Hey, 'My Heart Will Go On' is a nineties song, lets go with that!"
Celine’s French songs are often better than her English songs, but considering that no one skated to a French Celine Dion song when Worlds was in Montreal, we’re only going to get English Celine and, yes, mostly My Heart Will Go On.

The rhythm dance will need to use songs that have a strong rhythm and are danceable.

Ballads really won't work, or maybe just for a short slow section in the middle of an otherwise dancy program.

Power ballads galore here we come!
Presumably the rules will be similar to this year where ISU emphasized that it should be “high energy and entertaining” dance styles of the decade as well as explicitly NOT in classical, contemporary, folk, or ballroom styles of dance.

They were actively trying to discourage slow and lyrical dancing. That doesn’t discourage a power ballad exactly, but I’m not sure it’s in the skaters’ best interests to lean away from fast and fun.

I'd say that if the power ballad is used in conjunction with a high energy song and if the power ballad is recognizable then the ISU would be fine with that. You could take either of the Celine duets from "Beauty & the Beast" or "Aladdin" and pair it with one or two other high-energy songs from those soundtracks & be just fine. Same with Christina Aguilera's cover of "Reflection" from "Mulan." Not that anyone in the senior ranks is likely to do that, I don't think, lol. But, the point is, Celine, Mariah, Christina, etc - they have a pretty wide range on their albums, so it's totally doable.

Yes. But she is willing to do it.
I'm really curious about this if anyone has any experience with this or knowledge of the process – what mechanism forces Orihara to renounce her Japanese Citizenship if granted Finish citizenship? Would the Japanese Government actively revoke her citizenship once Finish citizenship is granted? How does this actually work in practice?

What is the sticking point for her citizenship? Amount of time she's lived in Finland? Finnish language fluency? Something else?
Bureaucratic processing time, Finland is not one of those countries where you get citizenship just by landing a thick wad of bills on the desk. I guess she didn't want to start the process before it was certain Finland gets two Olympic spots?
Also she has to take language fluency test, this might be challenging, although she knows some Finnish already.
