A strong, and passionate skate from Team Unique. That is going to put the pressure on the top 3 teams still to skate, as they were just off the podium going into the free skate. The pivoting block really was a top rate element - smooth transitions, clarity of formation.

Nova skated well, but clearly not on the same level as Team Unique. I liked the pivoting block, and I thought they held the formation well, and skated very close together.

That was amazing. They were flying around the ice, and giving everything in the performance. Given the power in that music it would have showed if they slowed at all during the skate, but they held their skate, and built the program throughout.

That was fabulous from the Haydenettes! The pivoting block was just... Chef's kiss! You can really see the influence from Jean-Luc Baker in their edge work in that element.

Great positions in the lifts at the start of the program, and during the creative element, but one of the four lifts during the group lifts element was struggling, and that may cost them the title. I love the costumes, and the performance - tight, precise, and the formations came, changed, and dissolved so smoothly.

This is going to be very close. I thought they were excellent, but the Haydenettes may have just pulled the upset.

You are correct!
but it was not as major as with the Roccketts who also had issue in second round where they exited one lift super quickly.
