Charles was hardly the only person involved in the conversation about the coronation date. Yes, he could have vetoed Archie's birthday, but we don't know what other events were already scheduled for Westminster Abbey or various people who need to be present at the coronation.It doesn’t matter what day the birthday party is on.
Parents want to be with their children on their birthdays. They just do.
All I’m saying is Charles could have picked another day.
What would they do if Charles said he wasn’t going to do the Coronation on May 6th?
Not let him be King?
Sometimes, unfortunately, a less than ideal date is the only really good one and choices have to be made.
