Papadakis/Cizeron #10 - Waacking All The Way To Beijing

So Putin has offered the winners at Beijing $4million Rubles, Oksana Grishuk is singing the praises of D/S's Moulin Rouge, also as per Grishuk, Zhulin is the greatest choreographer ever, just stopped short of saying Rach was the greatest piece since Bolero, blah blah blah. This Olympics business really is a business. Some serious money was shelled out. Go P/C I need you to bring it.
Yes they need to bring it!!!
I loved Grischuk as a skater and it's nice that she wants to be supportive of her compatriots, but S&K's choreography is a hot mess. This years material does them no favors at all.

Zhulin's choreography has NEVER impressed me at all (Foolish man). As for Grischuk, I agree she wishes her fellow country folks well.

Of course it does, it allows them to skate at break neck speed.

So bring it my babies.

I'm so stressed for them I don't know how I'll be able to watch :yikes::cheer2:
I'm always in awe when I read things like this. You're lucky they're not your friends or family cause you'd probably end up into intensive care with heart and respiratory failure ? That being said, as I want to watch them (and most of competitions) live I'll probably end up hooked up on tubes in ICU with the same ailments caused by overdosing on coffee and massive ingestion of Swiss chocolate

I've already begun binging on the chocolate. Help...welp.

If it had been my kid in P/C's position, I think I'd have needed to be put into a medically induced coma until it was all over. ?

So he is going for red like the Chinese flag I guess.
Nah, I think those are just practice outfits. They've said before that the costumes for the FD were pretty much fixed by GP France.

I watch on the Channel 7 livestream/catch up there later if I can't watch live, but unless you have a VPN for Australia I don't think that would be much help to you!

Where do you guys watch the Olympics ? Is there any streams you know of ?
I got a monthly subscription to Eurosport player, which I'll end after the Olympics. It's a good deal, other than the sad lack of a commentary-free option.

Judging by Instagram photos, they seem to have reworked their lifts (at least rotational?) in the FD quite a bit.

I'm still hopeful that they will introduce a new lift rather than to concentrate on the "best of" their career. If they really put an end to their competitive career , I'd love to see them finish on fireworks.
I know, it's grumpy me again ...:slinkaway.
I'm just so darn nervous about it all ... last time we saw them perform was way back in November!

I hope for that as well. But the few photos I saw today seem to remind me of their Mozart rotational lift.
