^^ In Harry's September 2019 British Vogue interview with Dr. Jane Goodall, he was speaking about his greater concerns about the environment when he thought of having children and especially after having his first child. And Goodall said something about not having too many children. Off-the-cuff, Harry responded, "Two tops." Or something to that respect. Since Meghan & Enninful didn't edit out Harry's comments, maybe he means it. I personally think 3 is not a bad number, but not being a parent, what do I know! ;) If the Sussexes are lucky to have one of each gender, maybe that will be enough.

Glad you agree it isn't all about Meghan. There's hope for you yet 😁

Aww @Lorac, there's no doubt I'm gonna disappoint you in that regard. Tee hee

Palace confirms that Harry and Meghan will attend Commonwealth Day. No mention on
whether Baby Archie is making the trip to the UK. I am thinking no. H&M will be busy
with their engagements and will probably leave the UK as soon as the engagements
are completed.

Posting this Access video again where it states Archie will not be accompanying his parents to the U.K. on this visit, which makes huge sense. I never thought he would:

I really have to laugh at the continued reports that the Queen and members of the royal family are missing Archie. Aside from the Queen (who resides at Windsor a lot), who else was actually a regular visitor to Frogmore when Archie lived in England with his parents? :drama:

Members of the family 'missing' Archie so much is not gonna bring the Sussexes back into the senior royal fold, and certainly not into residing in the U.K. for any long periods of time. Those pining will have to ask the Sussexes for a visit to their current abode in Vancouver. :D

Perhaps the Sussexes will take Archie back to England in June when they may return for Beatrice's wedding and especially for Trooping the Colour and the BP flyover (Queen's traditional birthday celebrations). It will be nice for the Cambridge kids to see their cousin, Archie, at a bit more older stage for playing and getting to know each other. The pining adults and overwrought 'Archie glimpse seekers' are a bit too much though.

If parents want to research about early development, the material is all there and easily accessible. There are books, articles, journals. Answering a basic five question survey is not going to give them the answers. If Kate wants to help young mothers there are so many better uses of her time and resources. There are already organizations and charities in place that do research on early childhood development. And their methodology is much more rigorous than a 5 question survey.

Really I think this whole initiative is a big waste of time and honestly, some royal virtue signaling.

It is nice to know that you are so well informed about the topic. I am surprised though, as a teacher, you can’t seem to grasp the concept that others may not be as well informed as you and may also lack the skills and confidence to do what you can clearly do quite easily.

If, in fact, this survey were designed to inform parents or provide ground breaking research then I would agree with you that it was a waste time. Luckily, as many have mentioned, that is not and has never been the goal. ;)

I can't wait! Show 'em what you're made of Megs. :rollin:

And hopefully up next: An American Vogue guest-editing gig for Meghan with this time, Meghan on the Cover! Yes!

O-ho, no no, another British tabloid rumor scotched! In this case, sadly. I was getting all excited about seeing Meghan in glam androgynous glory. :glamor:

Those baddie Brit tabs (that M&H are suing) just can't get enough of the Sussexes and starting false rumors on 'em, now can they. :duh:

For those interested in early childhood development this is a book I read as an educator:

It focuses on the work Lev Vygotsky did about childhood education and the importance of teachers developing age appropriate learning activities.

nearly 100 years ago psychologists were doing research about early childhood development and that research is ongoing. There are some great longitudinal studies.

also recommend Michael Apted’s Up series as he follows a cohort every 7 years.

If true I am glad he has spent some time with his grandmother.

Yeah, Harry's been away, so it's nice for him to catch up with his grandmother privately. Still, it's not exactly unusual for Harry to spend private time with the Queen, except of course, when he has been blocked by palace courtiers and p.r. from doing so!

I really find it hard to believe that anyone could successfully block the Queen of England from seeing anyone, let alone her own grandson.

That's not what aftershocks said. She said Harry was blocked. I don't know if that's true but if he was blocked I don't how the Queen would know that.

Well, it's been in the papers that his requests for meetings with her were rejected, prior to his announcement.

Exactly. Sometimes I find it laughable what people chose to believe but I suppose if it backs up their version of events then so be it.

Definitely we can all choose to believe whom and what we will. Personally, I choose to believe the reporting of respected journalist, Tom Bradby, who is not only a friend of Harry's but also an ITV news anchor, documentary filmmaker and a novelist. Bradby is also highly professional. IOW, he does not trade on his personal friendships for monetary gain, nor is Bradby the utter scuzzbag that The Sun's Dan Wootten happens to be.

Pssst, Wootten is also the chief recipient these days of KP leaks.
My word, what Wootten must got on poor, insecure, 'can't put his arm around his brother,' Wills!

FYI-- Tom Bradby was also a friend of William's at one time, and attended both Wales brothers' royal weddings as a guest. Bradby is also the off-camera journalist who hosted the Kate & Wm engagement interview, in late 2010. And of course, Bradby famously interviewed the Sussexes on-camera during last year's South Africa documentary.

oh I don’t know, he might call her up. Seriously, I know there is a lot of talk about “the men in grey” a quote from Diana, but seriously people need to remember first, that was 30years ago. The people working for the royals now are apparently a very diverse group. Second, Diana had her own axe to grind with respect to the royals. She also had her own filter through which she viewed the world.

I also liked Kate's outfits, but I can't see how she manages to walk in those high heels!

Years of practice!

Some cooking today. My mother would have a fit at this because they are not using chopping knives to cut those carrots! I love this sort of engagement for W&K. They look so happy and are always good spots about it all.

I've never been able to wear more than an inch or so of square heel and that only for special occasions, I largely prefer flat shoes. Somehow I didn't get the memo that girls/women must wear heels - I've always been a person who is happiest barefoot, still today at over 60 (I grew up in a small northern Canadian town and used to be able to climb rocks in my bare feet).

SFAIK, wearing heels is an acquired skill that requires a considerable investment of pain and a fair bit of practice.
