One year has passed but he is in our mind. Here is a video of his last performance in Japan, which Machida uploaded on YT. It makes me feel as if he's skating in his show.

Homage to Denis Ten (1993-2018), Our Beautiful Skater Forever
"Tu sei" by Vittorio Grigolo, choreographed by David Wilson
Thank you so much @rosewood
One year ago, I was crying so much, I was numb the whole day. Denis was one of my favourites of all time. This program shows why. I’m so happy the show is being held to remember him and his beautiful skating.

lorinicholskate:
Beijing China: 26 skaters of the Chinese National Team plus coaches placing flowers next to 26 candles after watching a video of Denis Ten at 4CC 2015, hearing details of the legacy of Denis Ten from Zhao Hongbo and myself, and a moment of silence to honour Denis and collectively vow to remember and perpetuate the legacy of Denis and send our love to his mother and family.

Here is a Kazakhstani article of yesterday's ceremony. People including skaters visited his monument.
google translation of excerpts
An event dedicated to the memory of the deceased figure skater Denis Tena was held in Almaty, Tengrinews.kz reports .

On the anniversary of Denis's death, people walk to the notorious crossing of Kurmangazy and Baiseitova streets with flowers and toys to pay tribute to the Olympic medalist.
Those who came to the monument to Denis Tenu shared their memories of the lost champion.

For example, at the age of 21, he transferred all the money collected from the ice show to a child suffering from leukemia, and then helped people affected by the earthquake.

"Most recently we were at a family meeting in memory of Denis. Many guests came to her - his coaches, legendary Soviet stars, fellow skaters from Canada, America, Europe. He was more than an athlete. He was the creator and producer of his ice show which the family is now pursuing with the support of the authorities.

Denis has always defined for himself new peaks. And he always achieved success in everything, be it sport, charity, or the performance of songs of his own composition. His early departure is a pain that all Kazakhstanis felt, "said Almaty Deputy Mayor Yerzhan Babakumarov.
"Denis is an example to which our young athletes strive. They understood that if you work, you can achieve great results, contrary to what many say: Kazakhstan is not a country that can show itself in figure skating. Each of his training It was a huge show. We always knew what talent he was, but now they are especially acutely aware of it because we lack him so much. Only he had such thoughtful programs - with deep meaning, philosophical ideas ", says the head coach of Kazakhstan figure skating Kura barking Uzurov.

Already at the end of the mourning meeting, those present noticed Denis’s mother. She did not speak: she just stood for a few minutes at the photo of her son and left.

This person is providing IG live streaming of the show. Second act has just started.
Sorry for being totally clueless, but when you get to her Instagram page, what do you click on to see the live streaming? Thanks again for all the information you have been providing.

I went to the memorial event and was at the show tonight and it was very emotional. The skaters gave beautiful performances and several programs were especially prepared for this show and to honor Denis - skating to music he had used. I also interviewed some of the skaters and will write a story for IFS Magazine.

Today we paid tribute to our dear friend, our brother, Denis Ten. This was a difficult week full of every possible emotion. There were so many tears: from loss, to pain, joy, and friendship. Denis left a lasting legacy through his sport, through his art, his movies, his photos, and his music. He was the only one of his kind and he is sorely missed. Today he was alive and present through the love of everyone in the audience, the sound of every edge, every note of the music, every memory, and every heartbeat. Denis, you may be gone in form, but you will live on for eternity in our hearts, and through the lasting legacy you leave with all the children in Kazakhstan. We love you Denis with all of our hearts! ❤

I was on the ice today, looking at the lights, hearing the beautiful music and in awe of the pure spectacle of what you’ve created. I felt you there. You say hello through the breeze; you smile through the light; & you speak and laugh with us through the music and instruments. On the ice we can always find you, feel you, remember you, be with you.
•Our beautiful Denis. The true artist. Always giving without expectation, sharing, loving, thinking, inspiring. It’s been one year today and it still doesn’t feel real. Yet I am one of the lucky ones to have known him and called him my friend.
•The Denis I know is not only brilliant with his mind and figure skates, but profound through his heart. I believe his greatest joy was to touch people, especially those from his country, and I feel maximally honoured to take steps and glides in Kazakhstan with him in my heart and in my mind. I am touched— Thank you Denny.

It's one year since that day. Finally I could come and see him. I'm really glad that I could come here. Wish everyone's thoughts will reach him.
It was also nice to see people coming from Japan for him. Thank you.
Denis, you are in our hearts.

Guys, I’m grateful from the bottom of my heart to you! I want to thank for these special moments, and especially for the last evening with the 3 brightest memories of each of us. For the enthusiastic work through these days, every fallen tear, and every smile. For the performances makes my eyes watering. For friendship. For beautiful and funny stories about Denis. It was honor to be here with you. Thank you.

Of course massive thanks to the audience, to the people who came to commemorate Denis.

And here is a little sum up.
This was the most impressive week in my entire life. We talked a lot, we laughed a lot and we cried a lot. I’ve felt the whole range of emotions that only could be. It was much bigger than just a show. And I guess I’ve realized one simple, but the most meaningful thing. Denis knew and believed in what he did, it’s really motivating. But the most important thing is that how hard he loved his life. So I just wanna say, let’s learn to love our life in the way he did. As simple as difficult. Denis, it all was in your honor, thank you! You are in our hearts.
