Amazing! Even with the <, Alysa still got 12.34 points for that 4z<+2t.

Yeah, but that's only because of the horrendous judging. She did not deserve positive GOE for that combination. No way she should have gotten > 9 points. Sure, it's a small summer comp, and she's getting National Champ and REP points on the GOEs, PCS, & the ignoring of rules, but the judging and calling was still awful.

In Young You's case, she kind of sunk herself with her scores from last season (kept mucking up in one half of the competition). Yelim Kim is the top non-Russian skater on the alternate list. They are both top 4 among the non-Russian athletes.

If you follow the link to the twitter account in post #46 and scroll down, you can read the various comments that are there. (The only detail about the ladies free in the combined event is that Alysa landed all her jumps and fell between her spins).

There aren't any comments on Hanna's free from today. I would assume there were mistakes as her FS score is substantially lower than for her qualifying round. She popped her first jump in the SP. Her qualifying round LP protocol is here:

I was totally underwhelmed with that. That is a fabulous soundtrack...yet their music cuts did not paint a picture of Eva Peron. And are they going to put some choreography later to go with those jumps?
