According to these spoilers, it appears as though Adam is going to be a judge on DWTS Juniors this fall, along with Val C and Mandy Moore (the dancer/choreographer, not the actress). Premiere is Oct. 7.

Also, Adam's episode of Ridiculousness is scheduled to air Aug. 5 on MTV.

I LOVED that. And it also gave me some insights I didn't have before. I always knew that huge throw/catch move in "Cutting Edge" was technically impossible, but now I know why. Thanks Adam.

He didn't make those comments about Tonya on DWTS. It was on one of those entertainment shows - and it was early in the competition, when the media outlets were still trying to make up some drama between them. Adam admitted in a later interview that he hadn't had any real interaction with Tonya until toward the end of the competition (and had never met her before it started), and he was much kinder in his comments about her after that.

He teared up later, when explaining that all the years of focusing on the hard work of becoming an elite athlete led to one of his scariest moments: realizing that he was representing the LGBTQ community — and his family — on the world stage.
“The Olympics wasn’t for me, it was for everybody else,” he said. “Everything I had done for myself I’d already done. I had to be a warrior in that moment.”
He continues to be a warrior and role model, not only for the LGBTQ community but for everyone else as he spreads his message of working hard, giving 100 percent and never giving up.
He hopes everyone can experience the freedom that follows coming out of whatever they need to acknowledge to be true to themselves.
“It’s not LGBTQ exclusive,” he said. “That’s a moment when you embrace who you are, and you own that. For me, it was so powerful, so I hope that when I share my story and the things that I’ve been through, even someone who doesn’t identify in that community still finds a moment where they’re like, ‘Yeah, I need to go through that in my own life, and I can apply that in my own life.’”

He indicated that he had during a practice session with another skater with whom he collided on the ice. The other skater, who sustained no injury and was less affected was helped up by Adam. That skater was Patrick Chan at Skate Canada in Kingston, Ontario. Rosie DiManno(Toronto Sun) was all over Adam indicating that it was his fault without any particular evidence.

^^ Thanks for sharing the photo of Adam with Amendola. I can't wait to see the commercial. Adam is so friggin' busy these days, it's hard to fully process. I'm happy he's up for everything that's coming his way, and then some.

The Youtube clip of Adam shooting the breeze with his Mom and they are both cracking up over an anecdote involving drinking mimosas is hilarious and heartwarming. When his Mom speaks about having written out affirmations for her children on her backyard deck, in order to remind herself during difficult times raising them alone of just how precious, unique and valuable her children are, wow. It was so poignant, real and a tear-jerking moment. How lucky are Adam and his siblings to have a mother like Kelly Rippon! I would never get amazing Mrs. Rippon mixed up with Kelly Ripa!

I remember being in the audience greeting Adam and other skaters at rinkside after 2016 Skate America. I could see Adam's mother off to the side standing with some other audience members, and I could see the love and pride she had for Adam shining in her face. There also seemed to be a sense of calm exuding from her, as if she knew all along just how talented Adam is, and that his talent would eventually be fully rewarded and recognized. And that was even before his out-sized Olympics aftermath success. I loved Adam breaking down figure skating movies. Very true! Thanks to Adam for telling it like it is about the realities of figure skating!

Kudos to Adam and his mother! Keep on rockin' the world and representing with your charm and grace.
