Is Lajoie/Lagha's music Assassin's Tango?

kinda underwhelmed...the greatest junior tango team got slammed at cdn nationals (love our domestic judges)with a very sm.error so their favs could go to junior worlds...such a shame as the team is no more.

Not sure what criticizing the placement for McIsaac/Graham, who weren't "favorite" enough to be considered for a JGP assignment until it was too late to even give them a second, achieves here. Fabbri/Pietrantonio would in all likelihood still have split even with a trip to Junior Worlds. In any event it's best for the non-Gadbois Canadian pool if the three new teams that have emerged from the ashes can have successful summer events, so best to McIsaac/Circelli, Stairs/Graham, and Fabbri/Ayer (Paul's a solid partner who hasn't had a chance to break through yet -- I hope they do great together).

MG were a new team and were not ready at the time assignments were given. Yes F/P would have split after the season as she is 14 and he ages out but they would have done it with a deserved trip to junior worlds instead of ending with a nationals where they were deliberately buried in the pack. This is really not a " oh well all's well that ends well" situation. It stinks.

Well, Kwanfan has assured us it’s not a tutu ballet, so no need to worry. The link she posted to the ballet had some interesting stuff, so maybe this will be a creative view of Carmen. One can hope! The music in Carmen is actually gorgeous, although I don’t know why they use the same parts over and over.

Kostomarov is helping Zagitova with "Carmen", from yesterday's IG foto (can't find it quickly).

So, reading between the lines, the best thing about the above is that Alex Johnson isn't retiring. (Nor is Jason, but I guess that was less in question).

I love Alex’s skating and he seems like a late bloomer. I hope he is successful in his Grand Prix assignment and the new changes are correctly applied to him by the judges. He is such a high quality skater.

I like Mariah working with Shae Lynn, of course. But I don't see the music choice listed.
Many skaters are revealing choreographers but not music yet.

Well thank goodness no-one's forcing you to watch, ey? Her SP is very beautiful, and I'm willing to give the FS a chance.

Puh-lease they change the rules so you can skate to whatever the Universe has in its vault.... rap, gangsta-rap, bluegrass, elevator music, etc whatevs and you come to the drawing board with 100% war horses that everyone in their mama, grandmama, great grandmama and great great grandmama have done over and over and over.

This aint no victimless crime.

I dont have to watch her true, and since she aint got no GPs and such I wont have to! Some skaters have forgotten the creativity in this creative sport! Michelle Kwan is such The Qween.

I think if you can't challenge oneself and stick with the tired and tried why bother? Im not one to order Vanilla when given the key to 10,000 Flavors ice cream. Its a creative sport! Be creative! For once dont order chicken!!!! lol

Is there a source (article?) link for this? She usually choreographs his short programs?

ETA:

Based on the IG post by Zijun Li a few days ago, she has choreographed a SP for Jinseo Kim: https://www.instagram.com/p/BlEwFBYls2G/?hl=en&taken-by=lizijunn

Neither Wangs, nor Jinseo Kim retired :cheer2:. Even though I'm not particularly excited at the prospect of yet another "I Put A Spell On You" programme...

I really don't want to see too many tangos, given that we will have to sit through the SDs with much the same music (there seem to be about 5 tangos that everyone uses).
