Given what's out there last 10 years, i wish Sopot Fest returns, or at least these are played at Eurovision..
Jada Wozy Kolorowe - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdVh6x_cXXU
Rena Rolska - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iw0XscrjX3I
Letka - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mo-4HgEAfm4
Minne Tuuli Kuljetta - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nH3gheBxkEE

Oh my, Sopot Festival and its Intervision period :D. Btw, who would have thought that one day I'd see Maryla Rodowicz and Rena Rolska on FSU  :cheer:.

Probably going to regret posting this :p, but if anyone wants to do the FSU Eurovision poll let me know.

I think you knew the answer to this before you even asked ;)

On another note I hope Netta doesn’t end up being a Francesco Gabbani. I like the unique quality of her song and it doesn’t follow the usual “love love peace peace” change of key 2 minutes into the song that is all too common. Plus after Jamala and Sobral we are overdue for another upbeat winner

But given that Israel seems to like to win every 20 years. I’m optimistic for Netta.

Idk what to make of Bulgaria. Can see them winning or being the surprise non qualifier

I can’t stand Estonia and am  as to why it’s such a favorite in the odds

Overall I think this is a one of the better years for song quality that ESC has had in a while.

My wish, that Australia isn’t held up by the juries yet again, same for Sweden.

Not really a fan of their entry this year (israel), but lots of people seem to like it so I am probably wrong.
:D you're not.... the song and performance is ridiculous (imo).. If we're going to watch something "that style", i'd rather listen/watch Nina Hagen "African Reggae".. if one is going to do a "chicken voice and face" then go all the way, not a half-arsed "pop-style"..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-FMglTIO30

As she can't vote for it, it means she doesn't have to listen to it so silver linings.....

Where there really no better songs in Iceland this year? :shuffle:
wellll I think the other one was slightly better (there where 2 who woted about after the main compitichion) (sorry about spelling)

They actually won two years in a row (1978-79) before winning again in 1998. ;)

Not really a fan of their entry this year, but lots of people seem to like it so I am probably wrong.

I’m torn between patriotism and not really liking the song. Sound effects do not do it for me.

Other than Norway (?) a few years ago, I haven’t liked a winner yet.

And I’m too verklempt with another move to be a country but I hope I can watch.

I'm pretty psyched about actually being able to vote for Eurovision this year. :D Definitely not missing it!

Since I'm voting from the UK I might as well represent it in the contest too if it's still available.

Not another one out of 66 winners? :drama:

Oh and your guy from Norway is back this year, but I have a feeling his song isn't going to be to your taste.

That’s pretty hokey, yes.

And the Portuguese song last year was nice. So was your Irish girl with The Voice and of course Dana was cool. But mostly corny, synthetic, awful pop.
