Access had a food truck waiting outside after the interview! It was so cute, they showed Adam and Mirai a couple of times with full paper plates! I think they were breakfast burritos! :D

I'm happy for Adam and Mirai having fun on the Red Carpet at the Oscars, and at the VF after party. AdaRipp was looking cool and edgy AF. Of course Cher got it right. There's always those naysayer critics out there who are too tame, tight-a** and jealous to allow bad AF stars to shine. Shine On, Adam!

Right on Adam! The rumors 'maybe' could be true about JWe being jealous of the attention Adam has been receiving, but Adam ain't really interested in Johnny's gig. They have different personalities and interests. Also, they know each other fairly well and have reached out to each other at times in the crazy world of fs, despite coming up to seniors at different times. Adam acknowledges that JWe helped pave the way for him...

Adam should do DWTS and some cool AF modeling and make continued guest appearances on all the talk shows. Adam, Mirai and Ashley should do some type of 'Skating For Real' talk show, dishing in a constructive way about the crazy world of figure skating. You heard it here first! :watch:

I wonder if the imminent snow storm and other pressing news matters pre-empted his appearance. I would think that they would have wanted him to skate but conditions would not have permitted that

Yes, and the archived show is now viewable there. Adam's segment comes after the 30 min mark or so. (He says he has gotten only minimal sleep after getting back from Korea but you really couldn't tell from his appearance.)

And this is awesome: A girl that used to skate in the same rink with Adam back in PA and who's now one the GLAAD Campus Ambassadors (i.e. the group/project Adam is currently fundraising for) wrote an open letter to him and I've got SO MANY FEEEEELS and seriously go read it! :cry::love:

Here are Ashley's thoughts about Adam's success from a recent article posted in Ashley's thread:

"It was time for someone like Adam to be received in the way that he was. Taking a step back and having him show the world just what he's about, and show the world, yes, he's a gay athlete and he has these skills on the ice, and he's kind and he's smart. ... To see the world receiving him in the way that they are -- he's so easy to love."
 
So Adam finally got to meet Reese Witherspoon on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and I think the hearts may never leave his eyes.

Side note: I'm loving the fact that the music Jon Batiste played for the outro of the interview was Vince Guaraldi's "Skating".
