Thank you! I like how the commentator says the drama is there to heighten the skating, not to hide anything.

I do wish I could hear what Simon and Chris are thinking now.

Let’s please have “Virtue and Moir” in the next thread title like the legends they are. Not Tessa and Scott (although I’d be on first name basis with them in my dreams).
 
I'm a huge fan and I think they are the best in the world but even I'm overwhelmed at the world's reaction to this dance. So well deserved. I'm so thrilled for them.

Yes that did happen...But i noticed the shibs did a lift similiar with the exit very much like the original goose.Very much like a singles jump.
 
Congrats to the incredible Virtue & Moir for winning a 2nd Olympic Gold and 4th Olympic Gold and silver medal overall which will almost certainly be a 5th in several days time. Truly the best ice dance team of all time!

Hopefully this will give them the momentum and boost they need for their battle against Papadakis & Cizeron in the individual where they will need to be at their absolute best to have any shot.
 
loving my coworkers' reactions to them at work today. figureskating has never been discussed at work until today, and all of a sudden, everyone was like, "did you see the canadians? oh my god! they're the best!" one said that she liked the russians and the shibs at first, but when she saw v/m, she was like, okay just give them the gold already! even one of my MALE coworkers was really impressed by v/m! i was floored!
 
Does anyone PLEASE have the BESP coverage or the BBC coverage or any other coverage that I can watch, lol I love watching the other countries talk about them! TY!

That happened to me at work today too. It was so awesome.
