Ross Miner Out Of Olympic Team (OFFICIAL)

Whether she had 20 sources or she saw my post, she was right too. So I don't get the point.
@Tony Wheeler, it was not you - or TSL. About getting the point, don't worry about it because it was a comment, not a point that I was making - which was certainly not directed at you. :summer:

Auxier mentioning that Ross tends to only do well at Nats, and that played a role in decision

Vote was 11-1

Auxier: "We're looking for the athletes who have consistently performed at international competitions who have gotten the scores."

"Ross had a lights out performance and is an example to our younger skaters" "but we had to look at body of work" "he has done amazing at nationals but has struggled internationally"

"average score lowest amount of pool considered"
"had some really challenging skates"
"we weren't sure if we put him out at the Olympics that he would perform"

Vote was 11 to 1.

Sam says that Ross' average score was the lowest among all candidates.

Committee's vote against Ross was 11 to 1!

Adam says flash photography in the stands was NOT a problem "No, Baby."

Wow, 2nd alternate is a bit harsh. But I suppose that really is going with body of work as Jason's fall and last season was stronger than Ross's.

Wow biggest nonsense I've heard from USFSA. Since when have they started to think in this way?? It was always nationals results for them in the past and now they can't even put the national silver medalist as the first alternate after pushing him off the Olympic team??

Do they name these twelve At any time?

USFSA just dug themselves into a bigger hole...
Yes, they did. Team Ross will probably not take this to court like some athletes and their teams have in the past, but today is not a good day for them.

ETA: I had better clarify, in all sports across the board re the naming of Oly teams.

Adam being very classy, introspective, and humble here. Mentions that 1/6/17 he was in the hospital after breaking his foot.

"Every January 6 I will be taking a sabbatical, in the Maldives, on a yoga retreat. January 6 is now the sabbath"
