Amoia/Becker are a placeholder entry, AFAIK. USFS usually has to submit names before the results of the skaters' first JGP assignment are known.
U.S. skaters are told any JGP assignments published by the ISU are considered unofficial until/unless they are informed directly by USFS and their names subsequently appear on USFS' International Assignments page.
Makes sense. However, I would be EXTREMELY surprised if Amoia/Becker were given a second JGP after Austria's performance and by looking at their average points earned thus far. They have potential, and look very nice together physically.... but they haven't had any clean skates. Then again, its their first season together. I would like to see some of the other teams on ISP be given an opportunity to get out there internationally.
I think the Greens and Anthony/Christina will be the top US Junior teams. (At least that's my hope)
