According to some rumors Fedor Klimov is injured again and probably he will need a surgery. Nothing official yet but Mozer's group is in Italy right now and it looks like Ksenia and Fedor are not there :(
All I gotta say: :drama:

Unbelievable... :( :(

This has been the worst quad for s/k! I don't believe they do anything of note Olympic season. Very sad unfortunate and maybe if they continue 2018-2022 could be something? Anyway they won Olympic silver and were impressive sometimes after but they went down the tubes and it's injury related now and while terrible they had some real high points. If retirement is clearly indicated now they should do it but if not 2022.

I can't believe their luck :( I really hope we can see them on the GP, last years GP was a ghost town! No more :drama: it's never the same without Ksenia.

Their bad luck started with their decision to skip Worlds for no reason...

New interview with Elena Radionova
http://spb.sovsport.ru/gazeta/article-item/994711
Nothing new; she won't reveal her FP music till the test skates, knows that it will be hard to get to the Olympics but she will do her best
With no hope of Adelina returning, my Olympic team hopes are Rad, Pogo and Med. I would be beyond thrilled for any of them to medal and more than one would be even better. My little Rose will never let go!

I have no idea how I'll survive Russian Nationals this year, I want Pogo, Radio, LaTuk and Med on the team... and Tsurskaya, and Sotskova, and Zagitova
:wall:

She loves How to Steal a Million! I knew I liked that girl! :D
Yes, her favourite movies are "How to Steal a Million" and "The Taming of the Scoundler", favourite actors: Ornella Muti and Orlando Bloom, "Scarlet Sails" as her favourite book and Beyoncé and Ciara as her favourite singers :)
Interesting that she prefers History to other school subjects

Ornella Muti? She is not a contemporary star..interesting :) it seems she really likes the history..

:) Come on! We don't really know why they decided to do that but whatever their reason, I doubt it has anything to do with their later bad luck and injuries.

We do know because they clearly stated their reason and it was discussed here ad nauseum. Whether anyone thinks it was a good idea is another matter entirely. Their injuries have nothing to do with "bad luck" or "karma" - it's skating, people get injured, some more than others. Maybe they would have had the same or more injuries if they competed at 2015 Worlds. It's impossible to know.

I don't think that's what Xela meant. It's a coincidence, that's all.

She literally used the phrase bad luck...but it doesn't matter. Their injuries didn't only begin after that Worlds, anyway. Fedor broke his leg in 2013 (on a bicycle...now that is what I would call bad luck).

I'm still shaking my head in disbelief at the thought of Elena (quite possibly) not making the Olympic team. A few seasons ago, Elena the Olympian was a sure bet. However, the depth of the Russian ladies, the emergence and dominance of Evgenia, etc...

Liza, too... That's a bummer! A World champion this quad, but the struggle and the hardship since...

How quickly things can change.

When I saw these pics some days ago, I was almost jumping of joy, as these are probably the first pics with Adian on ice for more than one year. I actually thought of posting here, but then I was almost scared to spread around the good news before official confirmation of this coaching team. And yesterday I red on a Russian board (http://fso.forum.cool/viewtopic.php?id=69&p=13#p20331) that Adian and Alisa are no longer training with Alexei Gorshkov, who conducted that camp and that their future is uncertain. :(

I’m :wuzrobbed It’s like every time there is just a slight hope that Adian’s career might still turn into a positive direction, something bad happens again. It must be so devastating for him to try out everything he can to continue skating and then there is yet another obstacle in his way. :wall:

I’m by the way still collecting messages for Adian if you like to support him with a few kind words (more information here: https://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/threads/fan-project-for-adian-pitkeev.101463/).

If Russian fed will again have the great idea of presenting some young skaters as „THE next champions to watch out" at the gala at Europeans in Moscow, it’s good I will be far away from their officials. It’s like they jinxed those skaters, look who was invited at the OG gala in Sochi in this role: Lena and Adian (and Lina Fedorowa and Maxim Miroshkin). Though Lena at least still has a chance to fight for a spot. Plus she has won some medals at major events in her career and no one can take away that from her. With the depth in Russian ladies that's nothing shabby, just compare that e.g. to Serafima. :(

You really need to chill and quit being so condescending every time anyone says something in here that "isn't right for you". Are you even a native Russian citizen, a Russian ISU official, or a family member to some of these skaters?? :shuffle:

Not that you need to be, but you're so consistently "on it" with every single Russian skater in existence (like this thread is a fire that needs to be put out). that's the impression it gives off IMO. I mean I get it, I'm like that with Jason Brown, but.. :shuffle: You can't police this thread so much because you'll end up going homicidal within two more months.
