This or That - Round 42

YES. Even if you can swim well, water is always a risk. Did they administer the swim tests themselves beforehand?

That being said, put your children in swim lessons. Put your children in swim lessons. Put your children in swim lessons. Put your children in swim lessons. Put your children in swim lessons. Am I clear?

This NYT opinion piece by David Brooks has gone viral on Twitter this morning and people are making snarky comments about what Brooks said about what happened when he took his "friend with only a high school degree to lunch."

Your reaction?

Brooks is right: The upper classes have barriers that lower classes can't get through. And it comes out in things like understanding sandwiches.
or
You can be highly educated and/or
have a good income and still not know that soppressata is just salami and cappiola is like ham. Brooks is ridiculous.

(Full disclosure: I have a masters degree and I make a fairly good salary. And I googled those ingredients.......;))
or
I feel sorry for Brooks' friend. She needs a lunch buddy who isn't such a jerk. :(

The South Carolina Youth Soccer Association is instituting a "no heckling" rule for parents at matches. They want to crack down after problems with parents who are verbally and even physically aggressive toward referees -- some of whom are still minors.

Do you agree with a rule like this?

YES - Seriously, parents?! The examples in this article are horrifying!
or
NO - The parents are the reason why these kids are playing soccer. Besides, jeering is a part of the sport. :)

No - The chocolate milk is probably overall fine. Isn't the real problem in the rest of school meal? Or the entire diet?

Sam Querrey just upset Rafael Nadal in the Wimbledon Round of 16. How much further will he go from here?
