Nordstrom gives us another () reason to shop there: KBeauty Pop Up Shop at select stores Feb 10-Mar 26.
The problem with most long wearing lipsticks (ie. the ones that last 8 hours or more) is that they are very drying. And the opposite problem for moisturizing lipsticks...they come off quickly.
I usually recommend Urban Decay Vice lipsticks to everyone. (I promise I don't get paid by them haha!)
They have a good blend of comfort vs wear time (usually about 4-5 hours or until you eat a meal) and come in 100 colours. If you like medium - darker shades, they will leave a little stain on your lips after they wear off.
Sephora sells them and I'm sure they will let you try one on in store to see if you like it before buying.
Mizon snail repair cream. https://www.amazon.com/MIZON-Snail-Repair-Cream-Grams/dp/B00AF63QQEOoooooo, I need to get my butt to Nordstrom!
BTW, my Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum is almost gone so it's time to try a new one. Any recommendations? I'm looking for the typical anti-aging serums. Should I have two different kinds, one for morning and one for night?
Does your state/province have licensing for stylists? Before Google, i was able to find mine by calling the state licensing board and asking where she was currently registered to work. You have my sympathy. I went to my salon in the fall to book an appointment, only to discover that not only was my stylist gone, the salon had been sold and ALL the stylists were gone and it was all new staff, management, owners everything.
No one had any idea where the previous staff went.
I've yet to find another stylist. My Mom is able to cut hair reasonably well, so she has een able to keep my cut someone in check for a bit, but I am getting to the point that I am going to have to go out and find a new stylist/salon........
Glamour pusses! Recommend a good undereye cream. I have bags and wrinkles (thanks genetics) but otherwise no signs of other wrinkles yet. I just turned 31 and figure I should start...
I use Boots day and night moisturizers. I bought them in London and found 'em in Target, here, and I like them but I want something better!
I've been doing a 30% glycolic peel at home once a week. Not noticing a difference. I still have huge pores and sebaceous filaments. I've started wearing BB cream or foundation every day, though, it's amazing how much better I look doing it regularly. I picked up Sephora's undereye concealer and it's really great, nice and thin and doesn't settle into the bags and helps mask them a bit.
I'm an idiot when it comes to hair care, but recently I've started curling the ends of my hair with a flat iron. The effect only lasts for a few hours. I'm thinking I need to use hair spray or something to make it last longer? But obviously I don't want my hair to become stiff and look artificial. Any advice?
I got a sample of their face moisturizer when I went to Sephora last weekend. The store girl recommended it to me because I have patches of dry skin. I didn't like it too much; it leaves an oily film and felt similar to rubbing shea butter on your face. I have combination skin and when I put it on before bed, my forehead was an oily mess the next day. But, if you have very dry skin, I think it would work very well.I just saw this article about Sephora's Drunk Elephant skin care line. Has anyone tried it? The article claims their serums are similar to Skinceuticals, but cheaper. I'm intrigued--although it looks like the products are still more expensive than I'm accustomed to paying.

Is there a trick to curling hair with a flat iron? My hairdresser styled my hair by curling with a flat iron last time and I really liked how it looked but when I try it just doesn't work. Any ideas?
Panic! Panic!
My favorite hairstylist evar does not appear to be at her usual salon anymore!
Have you tried Neutrogena Dry-Touch? It's very light and not greasy.hello lovely ladies (mostly),
anyone have a good reco for a very extremely super light SPF? It can have/not have coverage - but I'm going to Israel in April and I need some face SPF, and I have very oily skin.
Thanks!
