I believe Akiko Suzuki skated to the Riverdance Firedance a few seasons ago. It's one of my favorite pieces of music.
Satoko's been around so long, it's hard to forget that she's only 17. Last year was a breakthrough for her artistically. In my opinion; I felt that some of her previous season's programs were too mature for her -- not that she lacked skill, but that they were heavy for someone so effervescent.
I like the direction that her skating is heading in and hope her senior experience will help stave off that rising crop of Japanese and Russian juniors.
