They are just so special. I think I saw her stumble a little in the steps, but overall, very good.

Baby Brits - she really is such a ham and star. Having said that, I don't know that I think the "St James Infirmary" section works all that well in this program.

I think the more mature packaging this season is mostly working for them but the switch from “my girlfriend died” blues into Great Balls of Fire is jarring.

Camera angles again. She looked like she was coming to attack the cameraperson.

Peals - the costume trend of the sparkle trail down the female's backside emphasizing her buttcrack needs to go away even faster than the sheer skirt trend. Having gotten that opinion out of my system for the day - she's the clear star of this team and I would like to see her with a more dynamic partner.

Good unison on the one foot steps. Could extend the free leg more on some of the footwork. Nice to hear some new (older) music in skating. Like the way the program builds to the end, though some of their movement got a bit sloppy as they went.

Lower TES than Brits. What will judges do?

LOTR music doesn't get used nearly as much as you'd think it might given the films' popularity and all the costuming options.

Twizzle GOE a bit generous for a level 2 and a level 3.

Good speed, Not sure what they were doing in that rotational lift, but there never seemed to be a clear position that she hit, blazing through the one-foot steps, meaningful use of boards in the choreo sequence. Thought they really hit their mark in interpretation at the end, more room to grow with that in earlier parts of the program as the season progresses.

Well, that was a different sort of Carmen! But so well skated, especially considering their lost training time. They looked like they were thinking through it at first, but then they settled in and gave it their all.

Now THAT’s the kind of dress that I wore in the 1980s…high shoulder pads and thin waist. Even If this isnt the 80s program.

Nguyen/Giang - this is pleasant - and oh so boringly vanilla. Wing & Lowe really need to expand their musical horizons because their FD choices for both their teams here are just meh. Thanks YT for the random ad in the middle of the program.

Pretty dress. Good fundamentals with soft knees, good extension and partnering. Program (music) is kinda bland. AN AD DURING THE PROGRAM: WHAT FRESH HELL IS THIS? Of what I saw, looked more polished and connected than the RD.

LMAO - Oh, Ted, the TES compared to the Peals makes the outcome clear, but good try at maintaining the illusion of any suspense whatsoever.

Well, I liked it. "Seeing Is Believing" has a nice sweep to it, and they had some nice flowing skating to go with it. I might have used the original cast album, though. The voices there were stronger.

At least they set me up well for another nap. Much preferred the Brits, Peals, Mullins, both French teams.

Sorry you got hit with an ad, @her grace! I was really lucky in that respect today. My only ad was during the Ukrainians' K&C, and it was very brief. I went on Twitter yesterday and ranted at YouTube, and then I filled out the YT feedback form they pointed me to. Maybe we all should do that and see if it helps.

I don't know that I'd read too much into it -- as great as they are, they did miss a lot of training time with Michail's illness, and they did look a little tentative. We'll see how they do at their next outing.
