The Emmys were for S1 of The Bear while the Globes and CC were S2.

Fargo concludes tonight which makes me sad. This year has been so much fun with the writers taking shots at Maga America and a spunky herione played by Juno Temple who is becoming someone I watch for in shows. Lots of female empowerment in this one...

You may like S4 of True Detective. It has a Scandinavian noir vibe but a mostly female cast led by Jodie Foster, and it's really intriguing so far.

Finished season 2 of The Gilded Age. I had read somewhere (not sure if here or elsewhere) that it wasn't as good as the first season, but I thought it was fine. And I hadn't seen Robert Sean Leonard in anything since House, and I think he's a good actor, so that was a bonus.

I just subscribed to Max and am watching Succession as well for the first time. I'm in the middle of season 2. Binged-watched the first season over the weekend, but have slowed down deliberately to make it last.

Besides, I have Nationals to look forward to and I must not be distracted any longer from doing my taxes.

I nearly fell out of my chair: I was looking on Prime and I run across my favorite show of all time which was not streaming because of the cost of music used in the show. But something happened and now “Northern Exposure” is there. So Happy!!! Wow!!!!!!

I just want to keep the love for this show going. Northern Exposure was one of the best character-driven shows out there (well, until Brand/Falsey left). I've been rewatching and it's still so delightful.

I am almost at the end of Season 2. It is so good. One moment you feel sorry for the characters (like Kendall) and then they do something that makes them a-holes (like the Vaulter situation).
