YOUR REVIEW ON THE MOVIE "ICE GIRLS"

Say,I just saw the Movie "Ice Girls" on Netflx at a friends and now I'd like to ask anyone else here who has seen it for a review on it. Here's mine... I thought it was great. I liked that Tessa Virtue was in it. It was also very interesting. I am actually wondering if the girl that played that skater (Maddie) is a skater in real life,or if they used a skating Double? Because from what I saw it's kind of hard to say in the scene at the begining were she crashes into the boards. Which leads me to another question I've always wondered about....is it possible for a skater to crash into the boards and not get hurt? So that's my review. Does anybody else have one?

There was some drama. It depicts the intensity of ice moms well. Some skaters may benefit from having “the law of intention – you’re going to win not just do your best," preached by Heather’s mom.

The main characters are Mattie (Michaela du Toit, who had competed at 4CC in 2016 for S. Africa) and Mercury (Elvis Stojko).
