DOES YOUR RINK HAVE SOLO ICE-DANCE?

Say, to all our skaters here I was wondering...who here has a Solo Ice-Dance program at their rink?

@FSWer there are many, many ice dancers who are solo ice dancers. They might not be competing in solo ice dance yet, but they are learning the dances as a solo dancer, and they are taking ice dance tests without having a partner (their coach or someone else is their partner for the tests). If someone isn't competing in ice dance, they usually don't have a regular partner.

A lot of competitions - not the ones on TV, but local and regional competitions - have had solo ice dance categories for many years.

There are plenty of skaters at my rink who take ice dance lessons from the dance coaches, test either solo or with the coach as partner, and compete in solo dance competitions.

But they take the lessons individually on regular freestyle sessions. There really isn't a solo dance "program" per se.
