I freely admit that I got to the third line and started putting random letters together until it started producing things that looked like words.

As I was putting letters in squares that didn't make sense, I was thinking of the game Perquackey, that's still up on the shelf in the laundry room. You had 10 dice and had to make as many words out of them before the time ran out. It even had a "minute" glass that you turned over. My cousin, Patty, and I got tired of that, so we made 10 letter nonsense words. The two that have stuck in my mind are mapebixion and pfoxgrhaha. hee hee

What helped me today was playing Quordle first because

one of the answers was EXTRA. Normally when I'm scanning the keyboard I pretty much ignore the QZX as they are so rarely used, so I tried a word on 3rd try with an X in it, and from there it was easy.

And my first word was ANGST if you can believe it - I've mostly been starting with words that are two vowels and three consonants, but might do more consonant-heavy words because either it gets you there faster, or helps by way of elimination.
