What were your favorite moments of this season?

[Mad for Skating]

I'm not sure if there's already a thread like this, but if there isn't, I thought it'd be fun to look back on our favorite moments of the season. In no particular order, mine would be:

1. Savchenko/Massot's Olympic gold medal and Aliona finally taking her rightful crown
2. Wakaba Higuchi's Worlds FS
3. Duhamel/Radford's Olympic performances
4. Weaver/Poje's FD at Worlds
5. Mirai's Olympic Team Event FS
6. Sui/Han's Olympic SP
7. Stolbova/Klimov at NHK - not a major competition, but it was my birthday that weekend and they hit over 220 for the first time in a while

In no particular order, all are wonderful to me:

Adam making the Olympic team and then skating well.
Mirai making the Olympic team and her FS in the team event.
The Shibs' skating with passion and emotion and winning the two bronze medals!
The great Aliona and Bruno. Loved their free skate.
D/R's FS after a mediocre last season I was happy they skated so well.

I focused on the Olympics, I might add my favored moments of the whole season later maybe.

Kaetlyn's win at Worlds......hands down!

Elladj's SP and LP at Canadians He was brilliant.
Keegan's skates at Canadians and his joy of skating.
Elladj's gala skate at Canadians and the audience (rightfully) going nuts for him.
Elladj and Keegan doing side by side back flips at the end of the gala.
The way Elladj lingered at the end of the gala. All the skaters were leaving the ice and he hung back looking at the crowd savouring every moment. He didn't want to leave.
Sui&Han's Oly SP
Empress Aliona and Bruno! Oly Gold! with a performance of the ages and then even bettering it at worlds. Do we have a bow down emoji?
Canada winning team gold
My memory is shite
So Olys and worlds -
V&M (another need for the bow down emoji) - Oly Gold!
D&R's Oly skates
Kaetlyn's Oly bronze. And World title! Who would have thought?!
That's all I can think of for now.

S&M winning gold at Oly's made the Olympics for me and overshadowed Team and edged V&M winning Gold. Though V&M winning gold despite all evidence pointing to them having to settle for silver again, was thrilling.

Kaetlyn winning Worlds shocked the heck out of me.

H&D winning a medal at Worlds.

Gabby's smile at the end of the SD at World's.

Elladj at Nationals. I love him and hope he stays in the sport and entertains audiences around the world. No one like him in the world.

Watching the universe right the wrong that is judging bias with Papadakis and Cizeron. I hate that Gabby was humiliated but the judges were so hell bent on GIFTING them the gold that they over scored them with errors in the short still.

-Choi having great performances on home ice at the Olympics
-Medvedeva's class in the face of Olympic loss
-Cui's jr world performances
-Yamashita preventing the Russian sweep of ladies at Jr. Worlds
-Higuchi's triumphant Worlds

Men
-Aliev holding it together at Euros
-new OES talent Oktar on the JGP
-the USA losing Krasnozhon at Jr. Worlds, and Pulkinen and Hiwatashi still combining for 3 jr. world spots next season
-ditto for Aaron's heroics at worlds
-Rizzo doing all the competitions, winning a JGP and a Jr. World medal, securing ITA's Olympic spot at Nebelhorn, and getting to use it
-watching Hendrickx peform his tooth pain program

Dance
-so many great junior Russian ice dance teams, especially Polishchuk/Vakhnov, Shpilevaya/Smirnov, Skoptcova/Aleshin, Shevchenko/Eremenko, Ushakova/Nekrasov, and Khudaiberdieva/Nazarov!
-Hubbell/Donohue winning U.S. nationals
-Cappelini/LaNotte's emotional FD at Worlds

Pairs
-Scimeca-Knierim/Knierim's miracle in the Team SP
-Marchei/Hotarek's every Olympic performance
-Savchenko/Massot's worlds performances. So hard to do it again after the Olympics and they did!

Sasha Trusova's history-making long program at Junior Worlds!

Mirai Nagasu landing a clean 3A in her long program in the Team Event at the Olympics as well as her making said Olympic team in the first place after everything she's persevered through in her career.

And of course, the performance that against all odds won Tessa & Scott their second Olympic Gold Medal!!! Absolutely THE BEST!
