I really think Olga Markova's SP from 1995 Worlds deserves an honourable mention here.
"Coming up to a very important move: the triple axel...."
Wait, what?
Did John Misha Petkevich misspeak himself, or did Harding have a triple axel planned?
Thank you, @essence_of_soy! I knew that Harding had done triple axels in practice as early as 1984 or so, but I did not know that she actually planned one as part of her Free Skate any earlier than when she actually landed one in competition. It's mind-boggling that she had it planned for two minutes into that program!
Uploaded, yes. But thenAny of Nathan's programs uploaded to Youtube since 2016 GPF
All-time is def. Shen and Zhao, you know the one, but lately Manta and Johnson's FD from Nationals--the perfect performance of the perfect program at the perfect time.
Hadn’t even heard of them before your reference ... Thanks for bringing them to my attention! (Not really surprised to find out that Christopher Dean did the choreography ... He certainly hasn’t lost his “edge,” has he?) Just brilliant!All-time is def. Shen and Zhao, you know the one, but lately Manta and Johnson's FD from Nationals--the perfect performance of the perfect program at the perfect time.
